Bistro Pub Server
Essential Job Functions
The Bistro/Pub Server is a very unique position that encompasses both front of the house and back of the house skills.
The right candidate will be responsible to ensure a high-quality Bistro menu that pairs well with our featured wines and ales. Be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of the menu items.
The right candidate will also be responsible to serve and provide excellent customer service in all aspects of the dining experience to include wine and beer service
Preparing and plating exciting meals for our guests that reflect fresh and local ingredients
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Prioritize and organize
Be a clear thinker remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and the Bistro kitchen area
Collaborate with Bistro Manager on special events and menu changes
Interact with the restaurant and main kitchen staff
WOW our guests
A passion for creating beautifully prepared and presented food
Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food prep positions
Clear working knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes
Ability to interact with guests in an exhibition cooking environment
Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to remain calm and pleasant under pressure
Have current food handler and mixologist permit
Knowledge in the use of a P.O.S system preferred
Previous experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
