The Ackerly at Sherwood is now looking for a Guest Services Manager to join the team!
The Ackerly at Sherwood is a brand-new Leisure Care community scheduled to open in Summer of 2019. The community will have a total of 137 apartments and offer independent living, assisted living and memory care. Leisure Care manages upscale, hospitality-based retirement communities. As the Guest Services Manager you will be the right hand to the General Manager. You will play a vital role in the community by leading staff members to provide top of the line service to our residents in the following guest services arenas: transportation, activities, concierge services, front desk, housekeeping, and plant operations departments. Your dynamic leadership combined with superior communication skills, a high degree of professionalism and team leadership will be instrumental in this role.
If you are a self-motivated, results-driven, experienced business professional with exceptional skills in the area of staff management, verbal and written communication, internal and external customer service, community marketing and staff motivation skills, we want to talk to you! At least three years of prior progressive management experience is required, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
