What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Med Aide available to work either Day (6am-2pm) or Swing (2pm-10pm) Shifts 5 days a week. Since this is a lead role, in addition to working as a med tech, you would also have office support hours and be a part of a weekly on-call rotation. This is an excellent position for gaining experience in healthcare and admin. There is always opportunity for advancement and growth to other positions, hours & days. Essential Job Functions:

The Lead Resident Assistant II (Lead Med Aide/Med Tech) has full responsibility for direct resident care. This includes assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, helping residents participate in their daily activity program and some laundry and housekeeping tasks. This role also may administer medication and provide "nursing tasks" to residents, as outlined in state delegation protocols, and as written in resident service plan.

  • Assists residents with his/her medications according to company policy/procedure and as individualized on resident service plan.
  • Assists resident with all personal care skills (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
  • Makes appropriate observations about the resident’s condition in every interaction with the resident.
  • Reports information to the appropriate person in a correct time frame according to the company policy.
  • Records and follows up with changes in resident’s condition in a timely manner.
  • Records omission of services in the resident service plan and follows up as appropriate according to company policy.
  • May function as shift lead, maintaining awareness of overall building/resident well being and following "on call" protocols.
  • Assists residents with laundry and housekeeping services as needed.
  • Adheres to HIPAA laws and respect the privacy of residents and coworkers.
  • Maintains personal hygiene to company standards.
  • Smiles and has fun while remaining professional and safe!

We seek a candidate with at least two years of demonstrated experience in a med tech role.
