Line Cook Job Summary
Looking for line cooks to prepare ingredients and meals adhering to operational menus and standards.
Cook, clean, and following food health and safety procedures while working in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work well with others in a confined space. Previous experience of 1-2 years in a commercial kitchen is a plus. Heritage Estates' kitchen utilizes a hyper local and seasonal style of cooking, taking a Farm to Table approach, but cooking many classic dishes with a twist. Heritage Estates is bringing great food, community, and quality of work life to the Tri-Valley area.
Line Cook Job Scope
High school degree or equivalent
Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work station
Preparing ingredients by utilizing production sheets
Cooking and preparing by adhering to all food and health regulations
Utilizing food temp and refrigeration logs
Able to read and understand line tickets
Able to multitask to include storing food properly and labeling all items
Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for periods at a time
Self motivated and able to follow guidance directions from Executive Chef
Must pass an FBI background check
