The Ackerly at Sherwood is now looking for a dynamic, service-dedicated Office Manager to join the team. The Office Manager is responsible for keeping accurate financial records for the community, administering the community’s benefits program, supervising the front desk staff, and assisting the General Manager with administrative duties.


This position requires superior communication skills, the ability to maintain a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents, family members, vendors and staff. The ideal candidate will have the ability to respond to bookkeeping, payroll and benefits issues with knowledge and authority, along with being self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work independently.


Requirements for this position include excellent math skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills and MS Office proficiency. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Flexibility is vital as other position-related duties are required and assigned.
