Plant Operations Assistant - Portland, OR

 

If you are a "jack of all trades", this job is for you!  The Ackerly at Timberland is looking for part time Plant Operations Assistants who are very team and customer service oriented.  If you want to break out of the traditional mold and experience a refreshing environment, join our team at The Ackerly, a Leisure Care managed retirement community whose philosophy of Five-Star Fun for our residents and employees has made it one of the most desirable companies to work for.

 

This position is responsible for assisting with overall plant operations including interior and exterior maintenance.  Additional duties will include electrical/plumbing work, light construction, and coordinating scheduled service from outside vendors. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ideal candidates will have prior maintenance/ janitorial experience. Experience working with seniors and various state/local agencies for inspections a plus.
