Staff Accountant - Seattle, WA (Corporate Office)



Leisure Care’s Corporate Office, located in downtown Seattle, is looking for an entry level Staff Accountant who shares our vision of Five Star Fun to join the Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a fun, fast-paced, and team-oriented group.


As a Staff Accountant, you have the opportunity to analyze multi-entity and multi-state monthly financial statements for our retirement communities. In this position, responsibilities will include posting entries to general ledger, reconciling accounts, investigating variances, monitoring cash requirements, and preparing all related tax forms.


At least one year of previous related experience preparing and analyzing financial statements preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate! Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience is required. Exposure to the property management industry and MRI software is a plus.


This position requires strong analytical skills, a commitment to customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work as a team player within the accounting team.
